LLCs have great money-saving benefits ... but most are worthless!
Even when they should, they DO NOT:
In short:
Most LLCs do not give you the significant dollar-saving benefits that a well designed & documented LLC should give you!
The PROBLEM for Real Estate Investors:
Attorneys, CPAs and Nevada Promoters use bare bones incomplete documents, give you wrong advice, yet sock you with big fees.Internet Companies(such as Legal Zoom) start off low, then upsell you into more expensive options, with generic worthless documents, offering no advice. The problems, above, do NOT set up your LLC Structure with:
William Noll is a lawyer and Certified Public Accountant. He manages Noll & Company CPA’s and operates a separate law practice focused on tax compliance and tax-related litigation. His firm offers accounting and legal services, strategic support for business owners and individual tax payers, and provides part-time controller services for growing businesses that need additional hands on financial leadership or entities needing to downsize their controller role.
Over the years Bill has developed a specialized niche supporting the needs of real estate investors. These clients range from individuals owning a single rental property to investor groups with up to hundreds of rental units. His ability to combine accounting, tax and legal counsel all under one roof enables clients to better plan and modify their business and personal financial positions. Mr. Noll is a frequent speaker to large associations of real estate investors.
While attending Duquesne University, he worked for Pittsburgh CPA firms doing tax preparation, write up, and financial accounting. After law school, Mr. Noll worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Chester County, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, where he was litigating cases on a daily basis. In 1994, Bill transitioned to private practice in Chester County. For the next ten years he worked as a litigator trying dozens of cases to verdict. His litigation experience was in the context of criminal defense, white collar crime, tax compliance and general commercial litigation. Bill was chosen as a panel member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to represent defendants in federal prosecutions in multi-defendant conspiracy cases. He has experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney in grand jury proceedings.
In 2004 Bill returned to his roots in rejoining Noll & Company, an accounting firm founded by Ronald L. Noll. Since that time, Bill has limited the practice to tax consulting, tax compliance, complex tax litigation, accounting services, and part-time controllership. He has a wealth of experience before the IRS at both the examination and the appeal level. Bill is also admitted to practice in the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Noll has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Villanova University and is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law.
