The real estate market has changed dramatically over the last few years. Techniques that were used a few years ago no longer apply. You must be able to effectively negotiate on real estate deals using a proven system to make you more money.
I’m a nurse, wife, and mother of five. Like so many Americans I was brought up to believe in the American Dream. Where you get good grades, go to college or a good trade school and you will be able to provide for you and your family. But, it wasn’t until I was a divorced mother of four with a disabled daughter unable to provide enough food or warm coats in the middle of winter that I realized the American Dream is flawed and I needed a change. The answer was real estate. The problem was everyone I went to told me I couldn’t do it. That I needed to have a lot of money and top credit. The problem was, I was a single mom and broke. I began searching and reading everything I could on real estate, but it only gave me part of the answer. No one could tell me how I could make money in real estate, without using my own money and regardless of my credit.
Then in 2009, I married my husband Gary. He shared the same passion for real estate that I did. Together we created a system, using techniques where we could get paid to use other people’s money to fund our deals. We also got very good at negotiations and creatively structuring deals with motivated sellers. Within 45 days of getting my first deal, I had made my entire year’s salary as a nurse. Within 6 months, I made over $200K and retired myself from nursing and became a full time real estate investor.
My husband Gary and I continue to be active real estate investors. We continue to fix and flip properties, have a rental portfolio, do new home construction and minor land divisions, as well as creative real estate deals.
