IRPOA’s all-volunteer team operates on a lean budget. We are the only statewide organization fighting exclusively for Illinois rental property owners. Each year, we comb through more than 7,000 bills introduced in the state. From that mountain of legislation, we identify roughly 100 bills that could affect property owners—positively or negatively. We monitor the bills, discuss them with member and leaders throughout the state, and then engage with legislators. When a bill begins moving, we mobilize property owners with Calls to Action and witness slip campaigns to ensure your voice is heard.
