Celebrating Successes... And Learning From Them!

Group Discussion with Jane Garvey

The month of Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to look at our successes and give thanks for them. Our November 17th meeting will take that thought and expand on it. 

Collectively we will be sharing stories of our successes. The goal of this sort of meeting is to remind ourselves, and each other, of the benefits of real estate investing as well as to do some self-reflection. 

• What has worked for you?
• What have you enjoyed in the process? 
• How can you do even better?  

When things work particularly well, it is sometimes a result of being at the right place at the right time with the right skills. More often it is a result of consistent, hard work with the education and skills to back it up. While luck is great, repeatable success is even better.

Take some time and go through your records and memories. Find some deals you have done that stand out as particularly great. Ones that tell a good story.  I love the ones where you can show that it was a win for everyone involved.  

Put together some thoughts about: 

• What made this deal great? 
• What worked well for you?  
• How did it solve the needs of the other parties? 
• What technique(s) did you use? 
• What type of asset/property?  
• Where was/is it? 
• How did you find it?
• And more...
